what do you do when you can't sleep?

It's almost 2 am here and I can't sleep..
What do you do with your insomnia time?

I catch up with blogs..
As my personnal laptop is dead I use Mr L's. But he doesn't have the french keyboard where I can use accents..
And I don't have my bookmarks.
Nor my double browser habit.

See I need 2 browsers.
I use a gmail address for my emails under my married name. But I started this blog before I was married, so it's under the previous email address. And I can't log on both accounts with the same browser.
Anyway. This is why you shouldn't write a blog post at 2 am..

In other, more interesting news

My cousin had a baby today, her third little boy :)
His name is Yvain.
It's a knight's name, like his brothers Arthur and Tristan. :)

beautiful names. i like the idea of "theme" for children's names.
What would go well with Corbinien?
Well it really doesn't matter anyway, because people very seldom have to mention their siblings names.. it's more a fun idea for the parents.

Baby Corbinien will be baptized Saturday September 11th. I need to prepare the liturgy :)

I'm having a hard time pretending life goes on after my nephew's passing. I know I barely had time to know him, it's more what could have been that gets me.
I spent Friday at my parents' place and put my baby in the little bed they have for naptime, and there was a little blankie from Mathieu there. It was so sad. So sad.
All I could think of was how neat it would have been to put the two little cousins in this bed for naps during family reunions.. especially knowing how much my baby likes to sleep close to someone else..

Today we went to Paris, to get beer and try out a vietnamese restaurant for Mr L. Both places were closed.
Advice, DO NOT come to France in August, the whole country is on vacation by the seaside..
Avoid also May and November, peak for strikes..
Yeah work ethics in France, a whole post of its own, coming soon..

Anyway in Paris we walked a lot, about 3 miles but it seemed very long. I was exhausted. It was beautiful and hot. I got some clothes that fit me well :) So much for spending less money.. It's so easy to find excuses, we don't buy clothes too often indeed but still..

In the evening I had a great time.
Baby really loves to sleep ON me, he wakes up pretty fast when I put him down.. anyway I had to go do something while we were getting ready to watch a movie, so I put him down on the coach and he must have liked the warmth there because he stayed asleep.
So when the movie started I sat on the floor, on a blanket, and got myself a nice warm drink and some marshmallows, and cookies for the darling husband. A tv version of camping out. :)
It was fun, I really enjoy those little moments when daily life becomes magic.
