Previously "a frog's life", we now are settled in France, probably for a few more years. We now have two kids and big plans for our little garden. A sort of old fashioned American homestead 20 miles from Paris.

First thing to hang in our new home
This was made by Mr L's mom. " Cleaning and scrubing can wait till tomorrow... For babies grow up we've learn to our sorrow.. So quiet down cobwebs, dust go to sleep! I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep!!"
"Where is the mother who's house is so shocking? Up in the nursery, blissfully rocking..."
I always liked this poem....it has been my motto through the years...the baby comes first!!! And I don't regret it one bit! Of course I would rather rock a baby than do housework anyday, so it wasn't such a suffering!

Amen! Of course I'm inclined to prioritize pretty much anything above cleaning, so my view doesn't really count.
