Moved in! :)

Here we are in Chicago. :D Ready for a new page of our adventures.
Oh I wish I could post pictures. Our trip was really fun and our new place is so nice. I can't believe I live here!

I switched back to public, I found an option to get my blog unsearchable. I think it'll be fine.

These past few days we went furniture shopping, and not only furniture, anything for the house: hangers, garbage cans... It's the first time I move to an empty place. Before there would always be a roomate, or leftover furniture from previous tenant.
And did I mention this place is beautiful? Makes you fancy nice stuff. The walls are all painted, no holes, patching or scratches/finger marks. The windows are whole. No leaking AC, all cool and heat air is central. All the doors close perfectly. The kitchen is so wide and opened, there is TOO MUCH cabinet space!! I probably have the only kitchen with space left over!
There are closets in every room of the house!
Let me give you a tour: the front door opens in the kitchen, there is an entry way closet, for coats and such... Then on the other side there is a pantry closet for the kitchen, the kitchen itself is amazing, the countertops are all matching, in incredible color, a very polished stone (granit?). the main countertop is in between kitchen and living room, like an island, except it's closed on one side. The sink is in the middle, so whoever uses it can keep a conversation with people in the living room. How cool! In the back of the kitchen there is an exit door for the deck and a closet for washer and dryer (empty for now, there is a laundromat in the basement).
Then we have a nice bathroom, with skylight window! So fancy! When my sister came she got us vinyl lettering that reads " together, a great place to be" I put it in the bathroom, it looks like a decoration model home.
Then we have two rooms, one is the bedroom, well feather-bed room for now ;) and the other is Mr L. 's home office. He's got a beautiful desk and chair that create a good working atmosphere. But don't look around, the rest of the decoration is a huge stack of boxes!

I hope to find the connecting cable soon to put up pictures!

Sounds wonderful! I'm so happy for you. I remember the time in our life when we made the switch from 'ghetto'ish to niceness. Congrats!
