fall chicken curry

1 onion
2 pieces of garlic
2 tbs butter
1 tomato
1 plum
a handful of nuts (I used almond pieces left from biscotti making)
a handful of raisins if desired
1/2 cup yogurt (all I have is non-fat and it works well)
2 spoons curry powder
1 spoon tumeric (optional)
1 spoon sweet paprika or other spice you like (smoked paprika and some chili powder here I didn't put cayenne but I want to try it next time)
1 cup pieces of chicken (cooked or raw)

In a pan melt butter and add minced onions and garlic, salt/ pepper to taste.
When nicely colored add the diced tomato. Add the spices (curry, tumeric, paprika).
Add the chicken, whether cooked(left overs) or not (sliced breast, or maybe to try with pieces of leg.. much easier if boneless anyway). Add a little water (1/2 cup)
add slices of plum and the yogurt. Keep stirring for a few minutes. Add the nuts and raisins. Let it simmer for an other 5 minutes.
Et voila, simple, easy and delicious!
Serves 2 or 3.
Suggestions: serve with rice and mashed sweet potatoes.

Entirely improvised from left overs under your amazed eyes ;) No pictures because it's all gone already!
I must admit improvising is easy with chicken...
